Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny spoke to JTV today and stated that the task at hand is well known by the team; beat Inter and Roma.

“We’re expecting a good match against Inter,” Szczesny said to JTV.

“It’ll be very difficult but we’re confident, we haven’t conceded a goal in four games and that’s important.

“With the potential we have in attack, if we don’t concede it becomes much easier to win because all it takes is a goal.

“We’ll have two big games in our own stadium and that fires us up. We have to win against both Inter and Roma, we’re Juventus.”

The Polish international was placed into the starting XI in place of Gianluigi Buffon who was forced to sit out yesterday’s match. Szczesny was universally praised for his performance in Athens last night.

“The first, at the end of the first half was instinctive. The second was much more difficult, I had get down low quickly and I did it at the right time. I’m satisfied.

“Who will we play in the next round? We don’t fear anyone, we’re one of the strongest teams in Europe.

“I hope to meet an English team, I’d like it if we won a big game in England.”
