Juventus director Pavel Nedved has hinted that next Saturday’s match against Hellas Verona will most likely be Buffon’s last ever.

“Without Gigi, it’ll obviously be difficult. We arrived together in 2001,” Nedved told Tutti Convocati.

“He’s a legend in world football. If he decides to retire, it’d be a big loss for all of football.

“Allegri staying? For now, I’ll say that we must enjoy these next few days because it was crazy to win seven consecutive Scudetti.

“As for myself, I’m happy here and I hope to stay on as Vice-President.”
