The Derby d’Italia is one of the most scintillating matches of the European football calendar, nobody wants to miss it. This is no different for professional players. Pavel Pogrebnyak risks having his contract terminated with Dinamo Moscow after the player reportedly skipped his side’s match in December to travel to Torino to watch the Derby d’Italia.

The Russian club has opened an investigation into the behavior of the player after he was spotted at the Allianz Stadium on December 9th for Juve’s match against Inter. The player reportedly said he was sick for the club’s match against Anzhi and traveled to Torino where he was spotted in this photo.

Now the club is looking to have the 34 year-old’s contract rescinded for his comportment. The player has only featured once throughout the season (October 29th) and does not appear to be in the plans of the coach Chochlov.
